John Macmillan Park is conveniently located in central East Victoria Park location and contains the below:
Large grassed area
Nature Play Space with mulch soft-fall surfacing. Mixture of off the shelf items and natural timber logs and limestone boulders.
Stick cubby houses, allows children to salvage sticks from site to lean up against the cubby houses, encouraging imagination.
Picnic settings provide formal seating for parent’s providing site lines between the two sections of play.
Large Basket Swing.
Amphitheatre which includes seating stones, shade trees, seating steps and and open turfed area.

No smoking is allowed in enclosed areas (including tents/marquees) and within ten (10) metres of children’s playgrounds and any other specified areas, in accordance with the Tobacco Products Control Act 2006.
Casual Hirers are required to take all measures necessary to protect people and property.
Casual Hirers are required to prevent nuisance, unreasonable noise and disturbance to local residents.
The use of party poppers or throwing of confetti/rice is not permitted.
The releasing of balloons is not permitted.
No stay/pegs are to be used for roping of the area or for tents, which extend further than 30cm into the ground.
Booking a Zone does not provide exclusive use of public infrastructure such as the playgrounds, basketball or gazebo areas but can be used during your booking if vacant.
Compliance with the Town’s policy on single use plastic and polystyrene. It includes the use, sale or distribution of single-use plastic and polystyrene at:
a. all Council buildings this includes club room facilities (except those buildings which are, or may become, subject to a lease or licence permitting the use of the building for commercial tenancy or residential occupancy);
b. all Council-run events; and
c. all market stalls held on Council land. This includes stands or booths where goods are sold at a market or event.
